Internet Connectivity Outage – 3/21/2014

On Mar 21, 2014 Dotcom-Monitor experienced an Internet connectivity outage at its main data center. The outage started at 4:50pm CST and was resolved by 6:30pm CST. The root cause of the issue was damage to that occurred to fiber optic cables. We will be working with the data-center provider to add additional redundancy to fiber cables to avoid similar issues in the future.
